Wally
Wally Suarez Koch
from Osterby, Germany
No different from most little girls, Wally always loved to dance as a child. Therefor, when she finished school she decided to turn her hobby into her profession and started a 3 year training program to become a dance and gymnastics teacher at the “Kieler Institut fuer Gymnastik und Tanz” in 2004. During that time she learned the techniques of ballet, jazz dance, modern dance, folkloric dances and rhythmic gymnastic along with a wide field of sports such as swimming, track and field etc. Besides the dancing, she was also schooled in a solid theoretical foundation in all of her practiced dances, music, pedagogic, sports medicine, playing percussion and much more. During those three years she participated in performances at the Kieler Opera, & the Kieler Schloss. From 2004-2007 she also added danced fashion shows & human mannequin modeling to her resume.
After Wally finished her dance training, she traveled to the U.S. in order to improve her dancing and peruse her interest in Salsa. Salsa had always fascinated her, due to the energy, elegance, sensuality and its innate projection of joy. Upon arriving to California for the first time in 2007, she met Gallo Suarez. In 2008 he became her teacher and mentor. After receiving 6 months of intense training, Wally started to present her first performances and began her interest in Salsa Professionalism by participating in Salsa contests in the U.S.A. along with Gallo.
In October of 2009 Wally returned to Germany with her husband & they moved to Bremen. Since then they have performed in the U.S.A., Italy, Finland, Spain, Holland & Belgium in addition to every major city in Germany.
Being able to combine Salsa with her knowledge and technique from her previously learned dance styles, Wally brings a very elegant and graceful look to the stage combined with Gallo's high tempo Latino dancing and choreographies.
In 2010 Wally co-produced along with "El Gallo Productions," what has today become Bremen's oldest and longest running event : Palladium Voyage- International Salsa Festival Bremen.
"El Gallo Productions" Team is responsible for bringing to Bremen Germany some of the worlds most influential Salsa dancers of our time including:
2x World Mambo Champions (2010 & 2011): Luis Aguilar & Anya Katsevman

2x World Salsa Champion Finalists: Ricardo Tellez & Tianne Frias
2011 Puerto Rico Salsa Congress Finalists: Isidro Corona & Ariel Lehaitre
This love for Salsa & Mambo Dancing has blossomed into a dance school which strives to be home to one of the worlds premiere Salsa dance companies..."LA SandunGuera."
In January of 2010 Wally & Gallo founded "LA SandunGuera- Bremen Salsa Dance Theatre." A dance school with 3 different goals for different people:
